Who You Are

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management of custom systems that are used in support of engineering and business owners who rely on these systems to keep their products in compliance with company policies. You will work with internal and external resources, other vendors, and stakeholders to ensure that data in the business systems is up to date and maintained and adheres to company standards. You will also oversee the quality, risk, and communication aspects of the project, and report on their status and performance to senior management.

This is a 3-month role that can be worked remotely from one of the states that Prowess Consulting does business in; however, the work hours will be in the Pacific time zone. No third-party agencies, please.

To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Nort Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Missouri, or Washington.

The Role
  • Work cross-functionally with all areas affected by the program, including engineering teams, legal teams, process partners, and others.
  • Guide feature team owners through the protocol inventory process, including use of the cross-company inventory tool, ensuring SLAs and requirements are met.
  • Drive end to end protocol compliance across the company.
  • Schedule Inventory technical review meetings with product teams, review committee members, and legal, and generate review status reports driving action item completion.
  • Update and maintain data in business systems and resolve inventory data quality issues with business owners and engineering teams.
  • Monitor and report progress against the inventory and training goals across the Windows teams.
  • Provide reporting support on protocol inventory data to partners requesting it.
  • Monitor issues, working with engineering teams to identify deadlines, and ensure resolutions are on time.
  • Participate in SCRUM, cross-team, and program planning meetings as required.
  • Manage updates to internal team documentation and websites to improve communication within our team and engineering teams.
  • Help define requirements for the cross-company protocol inventory tool.
  • Work cross-functionally with all areas affected by the project, including end user, the engineering team, business groups, vendors, etc.
  • Triage all incoming custom business system user feedback, bugs and Design Change Request (DCR) with development team members and prioritize with key stakeholder input.
  • Verify new features, DCRs and bugs fixed are according to spec and close ADO cases if successfully implemented.
  • Level 1 support / Help Desk support for tool usage and issues
  • Meet Service Level Agreement response times for data support, system changes and help desk inquiries.
  • Immediate triage and resolution of any Pri-0 issues reported by users or stakeholders.
  • Provide complex Power BI reports or reporting assistance as needed; requires understanding of the data model.
  • Communicates system outages and planned maintenance to custom business system users and stakeholders.
  • Assist with complex custom business systems data investigations as needed.
  • File Customer Problem Records / Support Tasks as needed.
  • Track all UI changes and provide a report to Inventory PM team for each release to ensure accurate Wiki and Training descriptions.
  • This position requires an individual who understands how to get things done through influence and collaboration and how to negotiate commitments and hold people accountable to them.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).
  • Certifications such as a PMP are advantageous.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a project manager, preferably in regulatory compliance or IT governance.
  • Strong understanding of compliance programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, Azure Dev Ops).
Additional Details
  • The offered base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on geographic location and experience. Note that base pay ranges may vary for different work locations within the US, which allows for competitive pay and consistency in different states.
