Who You Are
Prowess Consulting is looking for a Technical Training/Curriculum Development Designer with instructional design skills to help our client create content to help train employees, engineers and other internal stakeholders focusing on regulatory compliance obligations at the company. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in creating visually compelling technical training content in various mediums with a focus on Microsoft PowerPoint decks and learning management systems (LMS) systems.
This is a three (3) month contract role. To be considered for this role you must reside in the greater Seattle area to work from our clients’ offices up to 3 days per week. No third-party agencies, please.

The Role
- Create training content for employee training using PowerPoint, Word, and other delivery mediums appropriate for the audience.
- Synthesize existing content and convert into consumable blocks of digestible materials following company style, brand, and accessibility guidelines.
- Create material that is visually engaging utilizing brand approved stock imagery and logos appropriate for the content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand the regulatory requirements of the obligations and translate these into clear, concise training materials.
- Review current content and all the training materials and put together an appealing, creative program for compliance training for on-demand employee training.
- Ensure content accuracy, relevance, and adherence to industry standards.
- Ensure that all content is compatible with the LMS platform and meets our client’s accessibility requirements, ensuring seamless access to training content.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure the training content meets regulatory requirements.
- Must have experience in technical training development and/or instructional design where you have created consumable materials that is attractive and engaging to the audience.
- Demonstrated experience and advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Experience with the M365 Suite of collaboration tools including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, etc.
- Must have experience with design and animation techniques within PowerPoint, Wiki pages, etc.
- Well versed in accessibility standards for digital content.
- Experience with Viva Learning or other similar LMS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and accessible manner.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- The pay range offered for this position is $40 - $50 per hour, DOE.
