Prowess Consulting is looking for a Privacy Project Manager with software privacy and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) experience to join our growing team.
This is a hybrid role with Prowess Consulting, and you will be needed in-office two days per week. To be considered for this role, you must reside in the greater Seattle area. No third-party agencies, please.

The Role
- Provide initial support for privacy consultation requests, including effectively communicating privacy-related information, guiding stakeholders on compliance requirements, and directing them to appropriate resources for further assistance.
- Conduct privacy reviews for low-risk scenarios, as well as validating responses for self-attestation scenarios, ensuring that organizational practices align with privacy standards and requirements.
- Continuously stay updated on evolving privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure that privacy practices remain current and compliant.
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate privacy considerations into various business processes, systems, and initiatives, fostering a culture of privacy awareness and accountability within the organization.
- 2-3 plus years’ experience as a Privacy Manager is required
- Certified in Privacy certifications: CIPM/CIPP/CIPT highly desirable
- Experience with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) required
- The offered base pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s work experience.
