Who You Are

Prowess Consulting is looking for a Project Manager to support our client’s marketing team. This person will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects on time and within budget. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Approaching challenges with a problem-solving mindset is a must. 
This is a full-time role that can be worked remotely from one of the states listed below. You will work Eastern time zone hours, with the occasional after-hour meetings. No third-party agencies, please.

To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington.

The Role 
  • Project initiation 
  • Develop the project charter  
  • Identify the key stakeholders, within marketing and other departments 
  • Project planning 
  • Create the project management plan 
  • Create work breakdown structure  
  • Clear deadlines
  • Develop the risk management strategy  
  • Define the project milestones  
  • Prepare the project communication plan 
  • Project execution 
  • Direct and manage the work 
  • Manage quality 
  • Resource planning 
  • Provide status update report to key stakeholders  
  • Project monitoring and controlling 
  • Perform regular reviews  
  • Monitor progress against the critical KPIs  
  • Apply changes when needed  
  • Help validate the quality of deliverables  
  • Check team performance  
  • Project closure 
  • Prepare project closure report 
  • Check all the documents and maintain the project library 
  • Track lessons learned
Qualifications
  • 4+ years Project Management experience is required. PM experience in marketing or data and AI is a plus. 
  • PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is preferred. 
  • Proven experience successfully dealing with ambiguity and managing complex, highly fluid projects.
  • Experience project managing multiple projects concurrently is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback. 
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple platforms, and the ability to find a mutually beneficial solution quickly. 
  • Self-learner with a team player mindset. 
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential project roadblocks and risks. 
  • Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills. 
  • Basic SQL experience is a plus. 
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. 
Additional Details
  • The offered base pay range for this position is $60,000 per year.
  • Full-time employees (defined as working 30 hours or more per week) within the US have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, a 401K plan with matching, well-being benefits, education benefits, and other benefits.
