Sales Support Engineer

 

SmartDeploy is looking for an experienced and well-rounded Sales & Customer Support Engineer to join our team (www.smartdeploy.com). The ideal candidate will be comfortable giving technical demonstrations to customers and providing pre as well as post-sales technical support for customers for our software product. Candidates should be familiar with Windows Deployment in general and have experience with standard industry tools (Symantec Ghost, Microsoft MDT/SCCM/WDS, Acronis SnapDeploy, Clonezilla, FOG, Dell KACE, etc…).

SmartDeploy is a fast paced environment that functions internally like a mature startup, the ideal candidate must be passionate about this work environment and style.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for the SmartDeploy product suite.
  • Manage customer accounts and support contracts through CRM, work with customers over Skype or GoToMeeting.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with clients, including providing pre-sales guidance and technical briefings.
  • Provide implementation guidance and support in both pre and post-sales capacities.

Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge and experience with Windows Deployment technologies and competitive products (Ghost, MDT, KACE, etc…).
  • Extensive knowledge of how Windows device drivers work and experience troubleshooting and testing deployments on Windows devices.
  • Solid systems management and networking experience.
  • Ability to own and drive problem resolution with positive customer satisfaction and active communication.
  • Must be a self-starter, with excellent problem solving skills including good attitude, initiative, and follow-through.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows Deployment.
  • Must be local to the Greater Seattle Area.
