Who You Are

Prowess Consulting is looking for a Technical Project Manager, experienced in Windows compliance requirements to join our growing team. This is a full-time role that will require you being on site 2-3 days per week. Only candidates who reside in the greater Seattle area will be considered for this role. No third-party agencies, please.

The Role
 
  • Own and drive compliance sign-off activities across various engineering organizations 
  • Own and manage experience inventory spreadsheet used for multiple compliance programs
    • Review and approve access requests for key users only
    • Update spreadsheet data as requested – adding new features and filling in missing data
    • Follow up on open issues to finalize feature classification for compliance work
    • Consult engineering owners when more information is necessary; send detailed meeting notes for relevant meetings
    • Provide information to other team stakeholders for tooling design or process guidance regarding our classification methods
  • Coordinate monthly or more frequent meetings to review new experiences and classify them for compliance; notify key stakeholders of decisions via meeting notes
  • Own and update relevant compliance content:
    • Refresh list of features/classifications monthly
    • Update compliance guidance pages as needed
    • Send relevant links to inquiring engineering teams
  • Open ADO work item monthly for a partner team’s compliance updates
  • Drive compliance requirements across engineering teams and tracking completion
  • Provide updates at regular shiproom meetings on progress made for relevant compliance items;
    • Coordinate with work item owners to update ADO and shiproom status PPT
    • Answer questions from compliance GCs and leads regarding specific features as needed or connect them with the correct owners
  • Use good judgment to engage compliance PMs for more complex questions or issues
  • Handle sensitive compliance information with care and following data management and best practices

Qualifications
  • 4-10 years of Technical Project Management experience driving compliance initiatives across companies.
  • Able to communicate at all levels of management effectively and competently
  • Well versed in distilling complex requirements into easy-to-understand action for Engineering and PM communities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and PowerBI.
Additional Details
  • The offered pay range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000 year, depending on experience.
